i rocked the 10k yesterday and today finds me famished. i started the day with all my intentions set to be good. my breakfast a healthy, protein & fiber filled green smoothie as i got ready for my day, and i carefully packed snacks of soy yogurt & cantaloupe, an apple & peanut butter and a lunch of a spinach salad with grilled tilapia. none of it kept me full.
despite the grumbly stomach & the fact that i ran yesterday, i decided to do a light workout this afternoon. i’m glad i did it, but after my calories spent, i needed to eat.
i got home and made dinner in a flash. corn tortillas, eggs, a little bit of feta and avocado. the end result was full of protein & good fat that proved to be a great choice for my ravenous state of need food now. it was really tasty too.i love to eat brightly, faith
